Vaccine Policy

At Viva Pediatrics, the health and safety of your child is our highest priority. We believe that all children should be vaccinated safely to protect them from preventable, serious diseases and even death. Vaccines are a cornerstone of modern medicine and play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of every member of our community.

Dr. Karen Segal brings years of education and experience in pediatric medicine, staying at the forefront of evidence-based practices in preventative care, treatment guidelines, and vaccinations. This dedication ensures that the recommendations made by Dr. Segal are rooted in the most up-to-date, proven research for safety, efficacy, and long-term benefits.

Dr. Segal endorses vaccines that have undergone rigorous testing and have demonstrated their safety and necessity through comprehensive research and reliable data. At Viva Pediatrics, we do not advocate for any experimental or unproven vaccines or treatments. Our focus is solely on providing the highest standard of care for your child.

Viva Pediatrics requires that patients agree to vaccinate their children in accordance with the long-standing guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and as required by Nevada Law for childcare and school attendance.

If you do not agree with our vaccine policy, we kindly ask that you seek care from another pediatric practice, as our mission is to provide a safe and healthy environment for all children under our care, which requires adherence to our vaccination standards.

Thank you for choosing Viva Pediatrics as your partner in your child’s healthcare journey.
